Official Charter of Old Remians Welfare Association
Article I: Name and Office
The name of the association shall be the Old Remians Welfare Association (ORWA). The permanent registered secretariat of the association shall be situated within the campus of Dhaka Residential Model College, Mirpur Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207.
Article II: Aims and Objectives
The association is a non-political, non-profitable, and socio-welfare organization founded exclusively for the mutual welfare of former students of DRMC, support for the college, and community service.
Article III: Membership Categories
- General Member: Any former student who attended DRMC for at least one full academic year and pays annual dues.
- Life Member: Any eligible alumnus who contributes the designated life membership endowment.
- Honorary Member: Distinguished teachers, principals, and patrons conferred membership by the Executive Committee.
Article IV: Executive Committee
The governance of the Association shall be vested in an elected Executive Committee comprising the President, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Joint Secretaries, Organizing Secretary, Treasurer, Functional Secretaries, and Executive Members elected for a biennial tenure.
